architectural gems from the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque era. One of the most spectacular examples of Gothic architecture is St. Vitus cathedral located within Prague Castle. The cathedral is regarded as the most important in the Czech Republic and apart from religious services, coronations of Czech kings and queens also took place here.

The city is filled with many marionette shops as puppetry is one of their most ancient form of performance. After a long day of site seeing, visit restaurant and brewery U Fleků. Situated in a house that dates back to 1499, they have been brewing continuously for over 500 years. Here you can find traditional Czech dishes and try their only beer, Flekovský ležák, which is brewed on the premises and not available anywhere else.
